We participated at the International Workshop on Ising Machines 2026 event in Singapore. I had the privilege of attending together with three of my PhD students, and it was particularly rewarding to them proactively contributing:
– Filip Sabo shared his work on nonlinear oscillators for computing with coupled oscillators
– Bram Haverkort presented on the digital implementation of coupled oscillators for solving Sudoku
– Federico Sbravati showcased a poster on solving Sudoku in the presence of noise.
– I presented an invited talk on thermodynamic computing with coupled oscillators.

The workshop brought together an inspiring community working at the intersection of physics, computation, and emerging hardware paradigms. It was great to hear so many high-quality talks, exchange ideas, and finally meet in person many researchers whose work I’ve been following for years. Leaving with great ideas and very inspired!

Beyond the technical program, it was also a wonderful opportunity to spend time with my team outside the lab, exploring Singapore and enjoying its incredible local food together.
